Annual Staff Retreat, Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants Spring Conference and a Retirement Celebration in Pasadena, California

This past April, the entire McCormack + Kristel team gathered in Pasadena, California for a 3-day staff retreat in conjunction with the Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants Spring Conference and to celebrate Joe McCormack's upcoming retirement.

Michelle Kristel, Catie DiFelice and Bryan Epps participated in the NNSC meetings which included member and panel discussions on a variety of topics held at the Maxwell House in Pasadena.

Joe McCormack, Enrique Campos, Zaria Davis and Kristine Papp joined the team at The Langham Hotel to begin the annual McCormack + Kristel staff retreat. 

After a visit to the The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, the team met for a meet and greet at the hotel's outdoor patio. Many of the staff were meeting for the first time and after a year of virtual meetings, it was a welcome change to see everyone in person! 

Strategic planning, employee goals and visions, team-building activities and staff discussions rounded out the staff meetings. The 3-day staff retreat ended with a celebratory dinner to honor founder, Joe McCormack and his upcoming retirement this summer.  Joe will continue in an advisory role at McCormack + Kristel.
